Brendan got his start as a dancer at the age of eight. He has danced in stage productions including the Australian tour of Alice in Wonderland with the Queensland Ballet Theatre and the Queensland Youth Ballet's production of Aladdin which opened at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. At the age of ten Brendan was accepted into the Australian Ballet School's Interstate Training Program. Soon after he received a scholarship to train full time at the Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy in Newcastle. During his training in Newcastle he was awarded the Tessa Maunder Most Promising male dancer award and was a semi finalist in the Mcdonalds Ballet Scholarship at the Sydney Opera House. Brendan then went on to be accepted into Level 6 at the Australian Ballet School at the age of fiteen. During his dance career Brendan has performed with The Australian Ballet, the Queensland Ballet and internationally on Royal Caribbean cruise ships.
Upon returning to Australia Brendan made the move to Sydney to pursue his passion for acting, writing and directing. He trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. His credits include ABC'S Dance Academy and the FOX8 pilot Undergrads as well as a number of short films and televion commercials. In 2011 Brendan was awarded a place in the Art Start young screenwriters program where he honed his screenwriting skills and developed his short film Today. In 2012 Brendan recieved production funding from Metro Screen's First Break program and Screen NSW to direct his short film.
Brendan is currently studying a bachelor of journalism and communication and is also developing his debut feature film screenplay. He is represented by Kermond Management.
